The two tracks in the Master of Science Program in Biomedical Sciences — Molecular Biology and Biochemistry — prepare graduates for such positions as managers of clinical laboratories, consultants, research associates, and research scientists in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry or medical toxicology. Graduates of the program have been accepted into PhD and professional doctoral programs.

The program may be completed on a part-time basis over a period of two to four years. Students are able to hold full-time positions since the major portion of the course work is offered as late-afternoon or evening classes. Placement assistance is available through the Director's office.
