Office of Diversity & Minority Affairs (ODAMA)
Diversity at Jefferson

Currently, nearly 10,000 medical school applicants apply to Jefferson: about 1 in 4 of the total national applicant pool. To increase diversity, ODAMA targets its recruitment efforts to those groups that are considered "underrepresented" in the medical profession as per the AAMC definition of "underrepresented in medicine."

ODAMA actively seeks to recruit underrepresented students of all grade levels from middle school age through high school and undergraduates.
