Overview
Students who have a BS with at least 30 science credits can earn a graduate certificate to gain mastery of the technical and analytical skills in Clinical Chemistry.
These professionals analyze blood and body fluids to determine their biochemical parameters and the physiological health of the patient. This information helps physicians to prevent, diagnose, monitor and treat disease. Clinical chemists use the latest technology to measure enzyme activity, blood gas saturation, drug and glucose concentrations and other biochemical reactions.
