Through its partnership with the Council for Relationships, Jefferson offers a strong advantage.

Students in the CFR/Jefferson program

• are taught and supervised by CFR faculty members—all highly experienced family and couple therapists and teachers
• have the benefit of practicum placements at multiple CFR locations and sites throughout the Jefferson Health System
• participate in ongoing clinical research in couple and family therapy
• participate in multidisciplinary collaboration in the clinical care of cases, preparing them for real world clinical practice
• receive live and videotaped supervision, to maximize the development of therapeutic skills
• have access to the largest number of American Association of Marital and Family Therapy (AAMFT) Approved Supervisors in the tri-state area.
