Movement Disorders Center
Tsao-Wei Liang, MD and Daniel Kremens, MD have recently joined the faculty of the Department of Neurology bringing their expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of movement disorders including Parkinson's disease, tremor, dystonia, gait disorders, and chorea. Both have completed residencies in Neurology and fellowship training in Movement Disorders at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
Treatment will integrate the latest pharmacologic therapies, including Botulinum toxin injections for dystonia and other movement disorders. Patients will also have the opportunity to participate in investigational clinical trials and research. In conjunction with the Department of Neurosurgery, a deep brain stimulation surgical program for the treatment of medically refractory Parkinson's disease, tremor, and dystonia is under development.
