Mabel C. Prevost Scholarship
Funded by Jefferson Nurses' Alumni Association
A. Award
- Partial tuition support for one year for the Graduate Nursing program.
B. Criteria For Applying the Scholarship
- Acceptance into the MSN or DNP Program.
- Stated plans for advanced practice nursing in a tertiary care setting.
- Demonstrated record of leadership appropriate for age, educational background, and professional experience.
- Evidence of therapeutic communication skills and compassion for patients.
- Full-time or part-time study.
C. Application Process
- Submit a letter of application addressing criteria stated above.
- Submit one letter of recommendation from a university professor or supervisor to whom you directly report.
- Submit a copy of undergraduate and graduate nursing transcripts.
D. Monitoring Process
- Recipient must maintain satisfactory academic status.
- Any recipient who is unable to meet the minimum credit (3 credits) requirement each semester will be required to repay the Scholarship money to the University.
- An individual is eligible for award of the Mabel C. Provost Scholarship only once.
