BFACAs the economy weakens and healthcare costs continue to rise, proactive solutions are needed to drive change in the marketplace. Key issues include patient cost burden, appropriate access and reimbursement, and the need for innovative benefit designs. These challenges have become the core focus of the Biologic Finance and Access Council (BFAC).

About BFAC

BFAC is a program of the Jefferson School of Population Health (JSPH). In addition to its academic programs, JSPH is recognized for its research and academic programming related to health policy and population health issues. Under the leadership of Executive Director F. Randy Vogenberg, RPh, PhD, BFAC is a dynamic action-and outcome oriented group, ready to put its significant resources to work for you.

BFAC is a multidisciplinary membership council which includes representation from leading employers, trust fund sponsors, third-party payers, biopharmaceutical manufacturers, actuaries, patient advocates, academics, and benefit design specialists. Its goal is to eliminate barriers to appropriate medical care with biologics through data analysis, informed benefit design, and a vision that transcends the silo mentality prevalent in today’s healthcare financing system.
