Through Jefferson’s Industrial Design programs, you’ll learn how to design products that transform the lives of people all over the world. It all starts with the design process, a way of thinking and working to develop strategies for innovation, propose more efficient systems and services, and create valued products.
And when you’re done, you’ll graduate with the skills, knowledge and industry networks to bring value-added innovation to the design community.
Program Highlights
- Working in an open, collaborative studio environment, you’ll learn how to make drawings and 3D models, build prototypes and share ideas with others to learn from their input.
- Our industry projects put you to work with top companies on real problems: like working with top tech strategists at Verizon, or designing the next Band-Aid for Johnson & Johnson.
- Learning extends beyond the classroom through our excellent study abroad and internship opportunities.
- Our signature DEC Innovation Core curriculum shows you how to understand and use the close relationships between design, engineering, business, sciences and the humanities.
