Thomas Jefferson University and Einstein Medical Center Philadelphia’s School of Radiologic Technology offer an Associate of Science degree in Health and Human Services: Radiologic Technology.
- The AS in Health and Human Services degree program is accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT)
- The degree fulfills eligibility requirements set forth by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologies (ARRT)
- The program is 23 months and starts annually on July 1st
- Classes and Clinical Education are held Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM at Albert Einstein Medical Center, located at 5501 Old York Road, Philadelphia, PA 19141
All courses are transferable to the BS in Health Studies.
Curriculum
New Curriculum Starting Fall 2024
This curriculum applies to any student who enrolls in the program starting Fall 2024, in accordance with the 2024-25 Academic Catalog.
Program Requirements (21 credits)
- Written Communication course: ENGX 110 College Writing (3 cr.)
- Oral Communication course (3 cr.)
- Mathematics: MATX 120 College Algebra (3 cr.)
- Natural Science course: choose one of the following BIOX 120, BIOX 121 Biology I, BIOX 315, CHMX 110, or PHYX 151. (3 cr.)
- Humanities course (3 cr.)
- Social Sciences course (3 cr.)
- Technological Literacy course: HSMX 311 Health Informatics (3 cr.)
Transfer Block (42 credits)
- Block Transfer Segment 1: Radiologic Technology Program (5 cr.)
- Block Transfer Segment 2: Radiologic Technology Program (20 cr.)
- Block Transfer Segment 3: Radiologic Technology Program (17 cr.)
