Residential Life-East Falls Campus
Welcome
Living on campus is an integral part of the Thomas Jefferson University experience. Recognizing that students spend a majority of their time outside of the classroom, the Office of Residential Life - East Falls Campus strives to create an environment in which each student is afforded an opportunity to develop as an individual in an atmosphere that encourages emotional and intellectual growth. Resident Directors (RDs), Resident Assistants (RAs), and Resident Assistant Mentors (RAMs) provide leadership, support and guidance for our residents in our upper-class residence halls on Main Campus and our first-year residence halls on Ravenhill Campus.
The Office of Residential Life is a part of the Division of Student Life at the East Falls campus. The Division of Student Life's mission is to create a supportive environment to educate students on advocacy, integrity, empathy, and inclusion; equipping them to have a positive impact on their communities.
The Division of Student Life's vision is to be a community of practitioners that exemplify and cultivate holistic well-being. To accomplish the mission and vision we share with the Division of Student Life, we make decisions through the lens of our office’s Core Values, which include:
- Inclusion. We aim to listen to, support and empower our residents, ensuring that all people feel welcome and safe in our residential communities. As an office eager to put students first, we value respect, equity, benevolence, community, and belonging.
- Innovation. We seek to be creative and to commit to growth and excellence. We remain adaptable to meet the needs of our students and campus.
- Integrity. We strive to be accountable to our community and to make collaborative, ethical and equitable decisions.
Residential Life also strives to ensure that all students, regardless of their identities and backgrounds, feel welcome and safe in our residence halls. It is our goal to support all of our residents in genuine ways, promote inclusion by example, and intentionally validate and affirm our community members. We encourage participation by underrepresented groups in all of our activities and programs.
Residential Life is located in the Kanbar Campus Center, Suite 311, and is open Monday-Friday from 9am to 5pm. If we can assist at any point before, during or after your time living on campus, please stop by or reach out to us at 215-951-2741 or tju_ef_reslife@jefferson.edu. We look forward to seeing you in the residence halls, around campus, or on your next visit to Thomas Jefferson University's East Falls campus.
