Election 2024: Voter Registration Information & Deadlines

As we approach another national election (Tuesday, November 5, 2024), the Jefferson Libraries want to help ensure the Jefferson community is informed, registered, and ready to vote. To check your voter status and find registration information and deadlines, explore the links below, provided by Vote.gov. Your voter registration is tied to where you live. JeffVotes is a nonpartisan student-led voting initiative aiming to increase civic engagement for students, staff, and patients at Thomas Jefferson University and Jefferson Health.

Voting as a College Student

As a college student, you can usually register to vote in either your hometown or where you attend college. Visit the college student voter page for a breakdown of scenarios.

Voting by Mail or Absentee Ballot

If you are unable to vote in person or prefer voting by mail, you can apply for an absentee ballot. Each state has its own guidelines. Visit the absentee and early voting website to find your state's deadlines and application instructions.
