The Medical Humanities of Willi Graf: In the Vanguard
Join speaker Dr. Stephani Richards-Wilson for a presentation on Willi Graf, a White Rose Resistance Group member. The presentation will take place on Thursday, September 12, 5-6:30 p.m., on Zoom. Willi Graf (1918-1943) was a medical student at Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich and was the last of the core White Rose students to be executed by the Nazis for high treason on October 12, 1943. Learn how Graf differed from other young Germans and how his humanistic approach to medicine put him in the vanguard of his contemporaries.
Presenter Information:
Stephani Richards-Wilson, PhD, EdD holds a Doctorate of Education in Leadership Studies from the University of San Diego and a PhD in German from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Her second dissertation dealt with Willi Graf of the White Rose. Dr. Richards-Wilson now devotes her time to promoting Graf’s cause.
