Meet Our Student: Charlotte Amelia Saggers

Charlotte is currently working towards her BS in interior design with a minor in management.

Why did you choose Jefferson?

I chose Jefferson due to it’s incredible interiors program, the fact that our program is accredited, and the smaller classes to give me a closer relationship with my professors!

Where are you from originally?

I was born in England and moved to the states when I was nine. I’ve lived in California, Austin, Maryland, and Ireland, but currently home is in Maryland. I received my citizenship two years ago, so I am a first generation American college student!

What is the best part of your studies?

The professors here at Jefferson really care about each student as an individual. It’s a great studio atmosphere that really pushes you to thrive and succeed. I’ve loved building relationships with my professors and classmates.

What’s something people would be surprised to find out about you?

That I’m British! My American Accent is a little too good. ;)

Tell us about an award or honor you’ve recently received.

I received first place at the Jacobs Interior Design Competition and was just nominated by my incredible professor Loukia Tsafoulia to apply for the Metropolis Future 100 List!
