The standard open ward typology of Malawi health centers along with the insufficient patient to doctor ratios have been shown to have negative health impacts for the patients. This project studies different layouts to increase privacy, ventilation, and daylight to increase the health and wellbeing of patients and staff while reducing the risk of hospital acquired infections.
