Health is defined by the connection of community, family, nature and self. A centralized medical clinic for holistic healing leverages social and cultural justice by providing spiritual gathering places and healing gardens to the towns and communities in and around Blantyre, Malawi. The division of the building by exterior walkways provides access and views to the gardens for the patients and public alike. These walkways also allow daylighting and passive ventilation of interior spaces while providing views of nature inside and out of the clinic.
