New Certificate Introduced at Integrative Nutrition CME Event

Marcus Institute CEO, Dr. Daniel Monti, welcomed attendees at the Advances in Integrative Nutrition CME Course.

The Institute of Emerging Health Professions and the Marcus Institute of Integrative Health at Thomas Jefferson have partnered to bring continuing education opportunities related to integrative nutrition. In collaboration with the Marcus Institute, we offered a 3.5 day Advances in Integrative Nutrition CME Course in Philadelphia.

Attendees participated in discussions and presentations led by national industry professionals. Marcus Institute CEO, Dr. Daniel A. Monti kicked-off the event as the first keynote speaker, covering the topic of “The Great Disconnect: Diet, Nutrition and Health Status in the U.S.”

In addition to Dr. Monti, among the list of notable speakers included Dr. Jeffrey Bland, Founder of The Institute for Functional Medicine, and New York Time’s best-selling author Dr. Sara Gottfried.

This first time event introduced our Advanced Practice Certificate in Integrative Nutrition offered all online. This, 9-credit program is designed for healthcare professionals seeking the latest evidence on nutrition, diets, and the impact of food on general health.
