Biography
Practicing Administrative and Business Law. Responsible for government procurement, negotiating and drafting contracts for this large government agency that has a yearly budget of over 1 billion dollars. My duties also include: training new sergeants/supervisors; drafting monthly legal newsletters; negotiating and drafting inter-governmental agreements; court appearances; labor and employment law; addressing public records requests; union negotiations; employee disciplinary actions; assistance in complex financial forfeiture actions; real property lease negotiations; risk management controls; advising command staff as to legality of contemplated actions; drafting legal advisory opinions; and on-call deployment to police or fire/rescue incidents at the request of command.
