Biopharmaceutical Commercialization
Biopharmaceutical Commercialization
The concentration in Biopharmaceutical Commercialization is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to build a rewarding career in the biopharma industry while focusing on the commercialization of advanced medicines, including cell and gene therapies, recombinant vaccines and monoclonal antibodies. Additionally, students will gain an understanding of the production of biopharmaceuticals and biologics, their regulatory and quality-based requirements, and key commercialization strategies and analytics.
Through collaboration with the Jefferson Institute for Bioprocessing (JIB) to create this unique opportunity, students within the School of Business can now gain valuable insight and training from industry experts and therefore gain highly marketable skills in preparation to enter a growing international industry. The courses are scheduled to meet the needs of working professionals and can be taken at either the JIB Single-Use Pilot Plant facility or in online formats.
