Tia Pion-Decker graduated from Thomas Jefferson University in 2015. She spent 8+ years at Abercrombie & Fitch, where she designed the concept for the kids’ brand for much of that time. She also developed marketing direction, brand strategies, and capsule holiday collections like Black History Month & Pride. Now, she’s happy to be back to her roots and working with her hands again on campus as she teaches Fashion Design Research, Studio 1, and Sustainability — where her true passion lies. When she’s not on campus, Tia likes to make bespoke circular fashion items, read and dance with her two kids, and play board games with her husband.
