A case-history and problem-based learning approach prepare you to interpret complex data, while clinical experiences and preceptorships support the development of analytical and empathic communication skills; which are critical for success in medical school and the health professions. Throughout experiential learning, you will practice essential skills in cognitive empathy, developing your communication to be a more effective healthcare professional while improving patient outcomes.
You will also benefit from individual attention in small classes, allowing you to have personal faculty guidance, who help plan possible career paths and assist with medical school applications – not to mention we have MCAT test prep on-campus.
Jefferson Pre-Medical graduates go to programs at Temple University School of Medicine, Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine and University of Pennsylvania Veterinary School, among other institutions.
