BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Douglas has 19 years of post-graduate experience working as a psychometrician and statistician. He has worked in numerous research and client facing roles in private industry for 11 years. His professional passion is the use of psychometrics and applied statistics for large-scale surveys and medical certification examinations. Dr. Douglas is currently the Director of Medical Education Research, Associate Director of the Jefferson Longitudinal Study, and Senior Psychometrician in the Asano-Gonnella Center for Research in Medical Education & Health Care, at Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University. In that role, he conducts research in the field of medical education on the assessment of medical professionalism. He also advises and supports faculty and staff on institutional research and performs statistical analysis and writing sections of manuscriptions for publications. Additionally, he generates numerous reports on academic achievement, and alumni academic characteristics and achievement. Dr. Douglas is also a Lecturer in the Jefferson College of Population Health where he teaches the Fundamentals of Statistics for Research in the Public Health program.
