BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Hess is cross-trained and experienced as a global business executive in the pharmaceutical industry; in academia with a series of appointments at US and international universities; as a real-world data expert and researcher designing multiple US wide integrated patient platforms and studies; and health policy advocate for the National Kidney Foundation and other organizations. He is a practicing clinician and also serves as a Physician Advisor for the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) CancerLinQ, and various pharmaceutical and biotech companies. He enjoys collaborating on a broad range of health economic, epidemiologic and outcomes studies, and the design and creation of integrated data platforms to enable such studies. Prior studies include those with the Scientific Registry of Transplant Recipients (SRTR), the American College of Cardiology (ACC), cancer registries, the National Institute of Health (NIH) and other professional societies and organizations.
