BIOGRAPHY
Sean Porrini has over 20 years of experience serving as Chief Financial Officer for several healthcare companies including IFIDA Healthcare, Continuum Health Alliance, Mid-Atlantic Dental Partners and Rothman Orthopaedics where he is currently employed. In addition to his role as CFO at Rothman, Sean is an active member of the Diversity, Inclusion and Equality Committee, Budget and Finance Committee, and Payer Contracting Committee. Outside business activities include holding Boards seats on a variety of technology, ambulatory surgery, and insurance entities. Sean holds memberships with the American and Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the American Mensa Association.
Professionally, Sean has designed a proprietary patient interaction tool; developed an electronic cost reporting application for the Pennsylvania Department of Welfare; and created a proprietary accounting system utilized by CPA firms to automate financial reporting. Mr. Porrini was instrumental in developing an executive education class for the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania to train the senior leadership at Continuum Health Alliance.
Sean is a native of the Philadelphia suburbs and currently still resides in the area with his wife Jodi and their three children. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Saint Joseph’s University in 1990, and a Master of Taxation degree from Villanova University in 2001. Sean has been a Certified Public Accountant for over 30 years. Early in his career, he was a named partner in two firms and focused his practice on a variety of healthcare clients ranging from hospitals to skilled nursing facilities.
