Dr. Roseann Schaaf Spoke at Grand Opening of Inclusive Pennsylvania Park

On October 2, 2020 Dr. Roseann Schaaf, Director of the Jefferson Autism Center of Excellence, spoke at the grand opening of Lion’s Pride Park in Warrington Township, PA. This inclusive outdoor space, designed to create developmental opportunities, offers a variety of sensory experiences for children with autism. Dr. Schaaf and her team at the Jefferson Autism Center of Excellence conduct research to inform care and improve quality of life for those with autism. An occupational therapist and neuroscientist, Dr. Schaaf said, “I always have my eye on assisting children and families to lead independent and fulfilling lives.” Her work with the center has a strong focus on education, training and community outreach.
