Biography
Julie McNulty is an Adjunct Faculty member at Jefferson. She also held the Interim Clinical Education Coordinator position in the program’s inaugural semester. She teaches Fundamentals of Athletic Training and Therapeutic Modalities of Athletic Injuries. Dr. McNulty also serves as a part time instructor at Montgomery County Community College teaching students Safety and First Aid.
Dr. McNulty has also been working as a Certified Athletic Trainer/Orthotics Technician at the Rothman Orthopaedics. Previously, she served as the Head Athletic Trainer at Penn State Abington for ten years, where she was responsible for the care of 13 intercollegiate sports. While at Penn State Abington, she was also an Adjunct Faculty member teaching in the Kinesiology major. Prior to her appointment at Penn State Abington, Ms. McNulty worked seven years as the Head Athletic Trainer and Adjunct Instructor at Cardinal Stritch University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
She earned her Bachelor of Health Science in Athletic Training from Lock Haven University (Lock Haven, PA) and her Master of Science in Athletic Training from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. She was also a graduate assistant athletic trainer where she worked through Northwest Georgia Sports Medicine clinic and was outreached to Dalton High School (Dalton, GA).
