This virtual program introduces occupational therapy practitioners to using the Cognitive Disabilities Model (CDM) in practice. Practitioners working with populations with cognitive impairments such as dementia, brain injury and psychosocial dysfunction will deepen their ability to apply the CDM in assessment and intervention planning.

Requirement: Learners will need access to the ACL-5 Manual and test materials for learning activities during this lab.

• Overview of the Cognitive Disabilities Model in practice
• Administration and scoring of the ACLS-5
• Clinical reasoning for intervention planning and problem solving

Please read all directions below before registration.

1. Click on the Register Today button that follows.
2. Select ADD BILL to begin the Registration and Payment Process.
3. Select "Innovations Lab" from the dropdown menu.
4. Enter your name, email address, and Jefferson alumni/fieldwork educator (Yes/No)
5. Enter $100 in the amount or $75 if answered 'Yes' to Jefferson alumni/fieldwork educator.        
6. Select SAVE
7. Select PAY to enter your payment information in a secure location.
8. You will receive an email confirming your payment.

The Zoom link for the class will be sent to you within five days of registration. If you do not receive a Zoom link, please contact Katherine.DeClerico@jefferson.edu.

Registration refunds can be requested if notification is received three days before the start of the lab.
