Research & Clinical Interest
Dr. Vinekar is an obstetrician-gynecologist who subspecializes in abnormal early pregnancy, contraception, and abortion care. She also provides general pregnancy and gynecologic care. She is dedicated to promoting inclusive, patient-centered healthcare. She serves as the Director of the Title X Clinic at Jefferson and leads resident education in Family Planning.
Dr. Vinekar is a health services researcher who strives to participate in research efforts that inform policy. She studies health policy, reproductive health equity, health equity in medical education, and the role of religious entities in reproductive healthcare. She has a methodologic interest in geospatial analyses.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, running, hiking, and traveling.
