Research & Clinical Interests
My research focuses on investigation of phenotype and genotype of hematologic malignancies. Using clinical and research tools such as large scale genome sequencing, PCR, flow cytometry, and immunohistochemistry, I study protein expression pattern and gene mutational profile of BCL-2, RAF, and MYC family oncogenes in lymphoma and leukemia. My other research interest involves clinical diagnostics in the areas of laboratory hematology, coagulation, and genomic pathology. Our clinically orientated research in these fields studies and defines laboratory practice criteria and guidelines and characterizes new diagnostic methodologies.
