Research & Academic Interests

  • Medical and Anatomical Educational Research: Exploration and evaluation of novel approaches for teaching & learning in anatomical sciences to support and augment medical education
  • Teaching as lecturer and laboratory instructor in multiple disciplines in anatomical sciences, including Gross Anatomy, Microscopic Anatomy, Neuroanatomy, and Embryology to medical students at Sidney Kimmel Medical College
  • Serving as Case-Based Learning (CBL) facilitator and Team-Based Learning (TBL) faculty instructor in undergraduate medical education
  • Serving as Course Director of Advanced Human Anatomy for the Physician Assistant Program at Jefferson College of Health Professions
  • Directing an outreach program “Anatomy Workshop” to the surrounding community, including high school students, to promote interest in medicine and science
