About Dr. Talekar
Kiran Talekar MD is a neuroradiologist dedicated to leading further developments and translation of advanced neuroimaging techniques including “Brain Mapping” using the techniques of Functional MRI and Diffusion Tensor Imaging which have the potential for transformative interventions for patients with various brain diseases including brain tumors. Equipped with his fellowship in Neuroradiology, clinical expertise in diagnostic neuroimaging and particularly functional MRI of the brain, he serves as the Director for the Clinical fMRI service for pre-surgical brain tumor mapping. Dr. Talekar is also the Program Director for Neuroradiology Fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital where he is enthusiastically involved in providing state of the art education to neuroradiology fellow physicians.
