Research & Clinical Interests

Dr. Nalla is a physiatrist with subspecialty training in Brain Injury Medicine. She has clinical expertise in neurorehabilitation for traumatic and nontraumatic brain injury, concussion, stroke, spinal cord injury, brain tumors, movement disorders, and spasticity management, including pharmacologic and interventional spasticity treatment. She also has clinical interests in amputation rehabilitation, prosthetics and orthotics, general musculoskeletal care, and durable medical equipment evaluations including wheelchairs.

She has presented both nationally and internationally on various rehabilitation topics at conferences for the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (AAPM&R), Association of Academic Physiatrists (AAP), and the International Society of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine (ISPRM).
