Biography
Heather Lynn Yenser is a board certified adult gerontology nurse practitioner with over three years’ experience in vascular medicine at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. Heather received her bachelor of science in nursing from Drexel University in Philadelphia and her master of science in nursing from Thomas Jefferson University. She began her career as a nurse in trauma step down at St. Luke’s Hospital in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania and then progressed to a medical intensive care unit at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. She has over 15 years of experience in critical care nursing managing patients with advanced disease processes. In 2019 she began her career as a nurse practitioner at the Vascular Center of Thomas Jefferson University Hospital where she oversees and treats patients with complex cases involving PAD, pulmonary embolisms, DVT and hypercoagulable disorders. She serves as a member of The Society of Vascular medicine and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
