Research & Clinical Interests
Dr. Weiner is Vice Chair of Clinical Affairs for the Department of Urology of Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University. His area of interest is prostate disease, particularly the management of benign prostate hyperplasia. Dr. Weiner performs laser surgery and microwave thermotherapy of the prostate. He is also interested in the minimally-invasive management of prostate cancer through the use of brachytherapy (insertion of radioactive seeds) and cryosurgery (freezing of the prostate).
