An Empathic Touch by Evan Tate

My thought process behind this piece was to create an image depicting what it is like for a person who was once lost and since found themself to touch the heart of someone who is currently lost. The difference between lost and found lies within the colors of cold and warm. As the found person’s hand drags along the lost person’s heart, the empty space within becomes visible, along with a single streak of empathy, or in this case, warmth.
