As Assistant Provost of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) at the Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University, Dr. Annette Mallory Donawa oversees all aspects of Jefferson’s program in continuing professional development and is responsible for accreditation and compliance. Dr. Donawa will lead the institution’s implementation of the newly awarded Joint Accreditation in Interprofessional Continuing Education. Joint Accreditation allows Jefferson to offer simultaneous accreditation to medicine, nursing, and pharmacy continuing education programs.

In addition, she is actively engaged in planning and implementing multi-disciplinary, interprofessional continuing professional education. Dr. Donawa collaborates with the Chair of the CPD Advisory Committee to provide high-quality continuing professional development throughout Jefferson’s health system. She has keen interests in improving and streamlining processes, evaluation, outcomes, and business development with government entities and international organizations.
