As Senior Associate Provost for University Libraries & Educational Technologies, Tony is responsible for the leadership of the Academic Commons at Jefferson. The Academic Commons includes: the Scott Memorial Library, the Paul J. Gutman Library, the Dixon Nursing Library, the university’s instructional design, educational technologies, medical illustration/graphics, video, photography and AV teams, the Office of Professional Writing and Communications, and the Design Center at East Falls. Each library includes a special collections team that focuses on retaining important historical documents of the institution and the Jefferson Digital Commons, our institutional repository. Tony teaches courses on instructional design and educational technology for the university, and with the Vice Provost for Faculty Affairs, provides direction for the Center for Faculty Development and Nexus Learning.
