As the Associate Provost for Research Conduct and Compliance, Dr. Theodore Taraschi oversees the Office of Research Conduct and Compliance and facilitates the conduct of ethical and regulation-compliant (animal and human subject) research through an integrated system of research review, audit and educational programs established in a manner that maximizes institutional effectiveness. He's also involved in research conduct and compliance in the offices of human subjects research, animal research, research administration, biosafety,  conflict of interest, research integrity, research misconduct, internal audit, innovation, export control and health exchange, and research planning. Dr. Taraschi also serves as the Institutional Official for animal and human subjects research, the Institutional Research Integrity Officer and the Institutional Research Compliance Officer. He is chair of the Institutional Research Compliance Committee.
