As Associate Dean for Academic Affairs/Undergraduate Medical Education, Dr. Deborah Ziring is responsible for leading the design, implementation, administration and evaluation of the revised medical curriculum, JeffMD. She oversees the activities of the design teams for all three phases of JeffMD with implementation of Phase 1 occurring with the matriculates in 2017-2018.  She works closely with Admissions, Student Affairs, Faculty Affairs and Graduate Medical Education leadership to ensure optimal design, faculty development and implementation of JeffMD. Once implemented, she will oversee the administration of the curriculum, monitor outcomes, ensure compliance with LCME standards and work as liaison with other Jefferson colleges regarding curriculum and inter-professional education.
