All METC Training programs transfer a large amount of credits towards the 120 credits required for completion of the Bachelor’s degree.

METC graduates who are academically qualified and are interested in earning their Bachelor’s degree are awarded transfer credits for successfully completing the METC course. Additional transfer credit from other colleges may also be accepted up to a maximum of 90 transfer credits. Each applicant’s prior education will be evaluated on an individual basis to be sure that no usable credits are left behind.

Toward our online BS program we accept up to 90 transfer credits per our institutional policy. Other TJU programs may accept a lower number of transfer credits. Review the specific Degree Map to find the exact number of credits awarded for a specific METC course.
Yes, we evaluate other military courses for credit based on Joint ServiceTranscript, ACE recommendations, official course descriptions from ATTR, and graduation certificates.
Yes, we consider credits from colleges and universities that were accredited during your tenure as a student. For some of the TJU programs, we also accept credits from technical and trade schools with published course catalogs that include official course descriptions, course length, testing methods, and passing criteria.
At this time, we do not award credits for medical or supervisory courses through competency-based assessments.
For the online Bachelor’s programs students can start the program and enroll in courses during any term (Fall 1, Fall 2, Spring 1, Spring 2, Summer 1, Summer 2.) There is no required annual start date and for the many of the TJU bridge programs there is no set schedule.
Other TJU degree programs have a Fall start date and may have a set schedule.
