MS in Midwifery/Doctor of Midwifery Application Information:

For students seeking preparation to become a Certified Nurse-Midwife or Certified Midwife who hold at least a bachelor’s degree (in any area) and have completed the prerequisite requirements. Upon completion of the MS coursework, graduates must pass the board exam offered by the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB) in order to continue in the remaining doctoral coursework.

Post-Graduate Certificate/Doctor of Midwifery Application Information:

For students seeking preparation to become a Certified Nurse-Midwife or Certified Midwife who hold a master’s degree in a health discipline and have completed the prerequisite requirements. Upon completion of the Post Graduate Certificate coursework, graduates must pass the board exam offered by the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB) in order to continue in the remaining doctoral coursework. Post Graduate Certificate students may also receive Advanced Placement depending on prior academic work and follow an individualized plan of study.
