Academic Programs

The Center's unique curriculum has been constructed for healthcare professionals who wish to become leaders and entrepreneurs in a digital health environment. Offerings are presented in an experiential, case learning format that combines exposure to design, technology, informatics, data science, implementation science, and business development.

We prepare learners to invent, improve, understand, evaluate, and implement digital health.

Scholarly Inquiry Track for Sidney Kimmel Medical College Students

Scholarly Inquiry (SI) is a required component of the JeffMD curriculum of the Sidney Kimmel Medical College. It is intended to provide medical students with skills and experience that they need to become critical consumers and producers of medical knowledge.

The Digital Health track trains students in ways that new disruptive technology can be used to promote health and well-being. The broad scope of digital health includes (but is not limited to) mobile health, health information technology, wearable devices, telehealth, and telemedicine. This track is designed to help future physicians improve clinical care and patient outcomes through the use of new technologies, in collaboration with a variety of stakeholders, including developers, payors, healthcare professionals, and patients.

Community Education & Continuing Education
