Study Abroad
The BS in Visual Communication Design offers semester-long study abroad opportunities in Copenhagen, Glasgow, Rome, Milan, and Barcelona. Students have the option to study abroad in the Spring semester of their third year. There are also short study abroad courses (1-3 weeks) offered each year to varying destinations led by different Jefferson faculty.
Student Work: Tara O'Connor
In Spring 2022, students were asked to design a brand identity and system for the annual Copenhagen Light Festival. This is a festival that showcases light artistry from established and upcoming light artists, lighting designers, students and organizations. The festival strives to introduce warmth and light into Copenhagen's cold winter nights. This image is from Tara O’Connor’s solution, which includes the festival identity, mobile app, animation, original photography and environmental design.
Experiences of a Lifetime
There are opportunities to travel while abroad during Spring Break. Hannah Bloom, 2020, traveled to Switzerland during her Copenhagen Study Away experience.
