Curriculum

There are 12 courses/45 credits for all Jefferson NP tracks. Course descriptions can be found in the JCN Student Handbook & Course Catalog. Clinical placements are a joint responsibility of both the student and faculty member. Jefferson sees clinical placement as a partnership. Students are required to complete at minimum 16 hours a week during the three (3) clinical courses. At the completion of the program students earn 750 clinical hours. All accepted students are required to attend a one day orientation before the program begins.

Students can take more than two (2) classes per term. All students will create an individual plan of study at the mandatory on campus new student orientation before the term begins.

Transfer Credits: Once matriculated, a maximum of six (6) MSN semester credits may be transferred from another regionally accredited institution following approval by the Chair of Graduate Nursing Programs.
