Alumni: Jessica Trio '21

Dr. Trio is a pediatric occupational therapist who graduated from the Jefferson PP-OTD program in 2021. She currently works in a movement disorder outpatient clinic in Orlando, Florida with clients ages 7-85 years of age. In this video, Dr. Trio speaks of her rationale for choosing the Jefferson PP-OTD program, including the innovative nature of the doctoral program, the quality of the faculty mentorship, and the impact of the doctoral degree on her practice.

Alumni: Antoinette Shaw ’20

Dr. Shaw is the program director at the Community College of Baltimore County OTA Program in Catonsville, MD. She also served on the Board of Directors of the American Occupational Therapy Foundation from 2022 to 2024. In her video, Dr. Shaw speaks to the quality, personalized mentorship she received while in the program.

Alumni '19 and Student: Janine Rajauski

Janine is a pediatric and non-traditional occupational therapist and an alumnus of the Jefferson Master of Science in Occupational Therapy (MSOT) program in Center City (Class of 2019). She identifies as neurodivergent and has chronic health conditions causing disability. When Janine decided to earn a PP-OTD, a return to her alma mater was her first choice.
