Services Offered
MRI
A variety of scanners are available to accommodate patient needs and comfort, including 3 Tesla high field and open scanners.
MR Perfusion
Helps to distinguish treatment related changes from recurrent brain tumor.
MR Spectroscopy
Helps distinguish brain tumors from other diseases such as abscess, stroke, and multiple sclerosis. Helps the neurosurgeon select the most appropriate place to biopsy certain brain tumors.
Diffusion Tensor Imaging
Allows identification of critical fiber tracts in the brain, helping in the diagnosis and treatment of certain diseases.
Multidetector CT
Allows the performance of multiplanar image reconstructions (reducing radiation to the patient) and advanced CT techniques such as CT angiography and CT perfusion.
CT Angiography
Allows detailed analysis of the cervical and cerebral vasculature, often precluding the need for the more lengthy, invasive and risky technique of catheter angiography.
CT Perfusion
Identifies areas of the brain that may be at risk for infarction.
Temporomandibular Joint Imaging
High resolution MRI used to detect internal derangement.
