Members of the Nuclear Medicine Division have published peer reviewed manuscripts in the medical literature covering various topics, such as benign and malignant thyroid diseases, neuroendocrine tumor imaging, sentinel lymph node mapping in melanoma, and complex regional pain syndrome type I. 

The division members are principal investigators in industry-sponsored and NIH-sponsored clinical trials involving new PET tracers for diagnosing brain tumor viability, breast cancer, and melanoma.  A clinical trial evaluating a new PET labeled pharmaceutical for dementia will soon be undertaken.
