Stanton Miller, MD, MPH, FACS graduated from Jefferson Medical College in 1980 and received his MPH from Johns Hopkins University in 2003. He is a Clinical Associate Professor of Surgery and Emergency Medicine, and Executive Director of the Jefferson Center for Injury Research and Prevention (JCIRP).

Danielle Snyderman, MD, CMD (she/her) received her MD from Howard University College of Medicine. She is an Associate Professor and geriatrician in the Department of Family and Community medicine at Jefferson in Philadelphia. She serves as the medical director of a continuing care retirement community and precepts the family medicine residents in their outpatient continuity practice.. Through her relationships with patients, she is humbled to be a collector of stories and believes writing is a form of self-care.
Kyle Conner, MA, CIP has worked in the Office of Human Research at Jefferson for 25 years. He is a regulatory expert and enjoys the creative moment of interpretation. He is also a published poet and teacher, an avid cyclist, environmental advocate and dog lover.
Pamela Walter, MFA is a writer and editor who helps researchers at Jefferson communicate their work to each other and the world. She runs the Office for Professional Writing, Publishing, and Communication and teaches scholarly writing as an adjunct.
Jennifer Geller, MD is a general surgery resident physician at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and graduate of Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in 2024. She is the Graduate Medical Education (GME) Director of the Jefferson Center for Injury Research and Prevention (JCIRP).
Sarah Lawson (she/her) is a 4th year medical student at Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University. She studied the history of science at Princeton, where she developed a deep appreciation for the humanities and narratives in medicine.
DaVonne R. Armstrong is the Library Director of the Paul J. Gutman Library on the East Falls campus of Thomas Jefferson University. She received her Master of Library and Information Science from Drexel University (2012) and her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Temple University (2009). DaVonne’s adventures with writing began at a young age and were nourished by her innate desire to express herself authentically. She has published one book of poetry under the name D.R. Rooney, Poems from the End of the World (2020), and continues to experiment with written work as a form of self-liberation and expression. She is an occasional hiker and is extending her exploration of art to painting.
