We’re just a few minutes from quaint Manayunk, with its Main Street full of shops and restaurants; from Wissahickon Park, full of trails and nature; and from the Schuylkill River, lined with bike paths.

Campus dining offers several options, and are made with local, fresh ingredients.

Ted’s Barista is the place to go for Starbucks coffee, pizza, ready-to-eat sandwiches and other light fare. Common Thread and Ravenhill Dining Hall are large cafeterias with stations for soups; salads; sandwiches; customizable breakfasts, grain bowls and pastas; fresh Mexican food; rotating themes like barbecue, cheesesteaks and pierogis; and, of course, snacks and desserts. Chicken fingers Thursdays are can’t-miss and each semester’s midnight breakfast helps students study for exams!

The Gallagher Athletic, Recreation & Convocation Center provides students with state-of-the-art workout equipment, exercise classes and experts in physical fitness.

Jefferson supports students’ mental and emotional health through the Student Counseling Center. All counselors are licensed and certified and can help students with adjusting to college life, substance use concerns, depression–anything they want to talk about.

The COVID-19 pandemic has upended many people’s lives, making it extra important to take care of ourselves. Jefferson offers these tips for self-care during these trying times.
