Deadline to Register for the Career Day & Design Expo You must complete all three steps to register After January 31st, you CAN continue making updates to the CONTENT within your online portfolio until Thursday, February 6th by 11:59 PM. After January 31st, you CANNOT submit a new resume, make updates to the resume you submitted, or change the URL link to your online portfolio, all of which you submitted during registration. If you make any updates to your resume or portfolio AFTER the deadline, you may bring the updated copy to the fair. The Career Services Center will have drop-in hours on Friday, January 31st from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM in Kanbar 313. |

Continue Updating the Content in Your Online Portfolio During this time, continue updating the content within your online portfolio. That means adding new photos or projects. However, the URL/link should remain the same one you submitted during registration. This cannot be changed. |

Last Day to Finalize the Content of Your Online Portfolio This is the last day to update the CONTENT within your online portfolio. If you have a new project that you finalized after this date, you should add it to your physical portfolio and bring any updated work to the Career Day & Design Expo to show employers during the event. Last day to withdraw from the Career Day & Design Expo Employers will receive your Resumes & Online Portfolio Links starting February 10th. Please “press pause” and refrain from making any changes to your online portfolio while employers view your work; it will distract from the quality of your work if your content keeps changing as employers are navigating your website. |

Receive Your Interview Request Starting on Friday, February 14th, students will be invited to select interview time slots. Please note that these emails will be sent to your Jefferson email address and will be sent during the week. You are required to select a time slot with each employer who has invited you for an interview. You will have until Thursday, February 20th to select your interview time slot(s). You will be able to see all employers registered for the fair on Handshake. Research all of the employers you’ll be meeting with, or would like to visit during Open Networking, so you know the basics (what type of company, what services they provide, where they are located, what makes them stand out from their competitors). |

Last Day to Sign Up for an Interview This is the last day to sign up for an interview if you are selected. If you need assistance signing up for an interview, come to the Career Services Center during our walk-in hours – M & W 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM and T & TH 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM. |

Career Day & Design Expo 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM Gallagher Athletic Center Dress professionally, as you would to an official interview. Bring multiple copies of your resume as well as your portfolio (on an iPad, laptop, or in a physical binder).
*If you are invited to interview: You do not have to arrive until 20 minutes before your first interview to check-in and locate the employer on the booth map. If you do not have interviews: All students should plan to attend the Open Networking session to meet with top employers of your choice. |
