Students who successfully complete the PA Program at Jefferson (Philadelphia University + Thomas Jefferson University) are eligible to take the Physician Assistant National Certifying Exam (PANCE). This is a computer-based test that is issued by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA), the only certifying organization for physician assistants in the United States.
